Ethnic Blouse & The Village Museum

Hello, ladies! I hope you had a relaxing weekend! Today I've spent a quiet and very pleasant day at the Village Museum. I haven't visited this beautiful place since my childhood years, so it was lovely to be here again :) The museum looked wonderful and the old traditional houses reminded me of my summer vacations spent at my grandparents' house, in the countryside. I will be definitely returning again to this museum since I had such a nice and relaxing time.

Moving on to the outfit I wore, I chose a loose ethnic blouse from Mango, which in a way reminded me of our national traditional costume, a pair of light blue jeans and some cute and feminine sandals (both items are from Zara). Th reason for which I chose a casual clutch instead of a bag is because it was very hot and I didn't want to carry anything heavy or really close to my body (if that makes sense). I love how this coral clutch from Accessorize offers the much needed pop of colour to my outfit.

So here you have it, a casual easy breezy outfit. Make sure you check all the photos for some nice shots of the traditional houses you can find in the museum.

Have a great week!

Elegant Lace Dress

Hello everyone! I'm back with a brand new outfit post, a more elegant one, since I was invited to a christening ceremony. The weather was great, very sunny and hot, even though I'm not particularly pleased that the weather is this hot in May. I'm kind of dreading the thought of having 4 months of 30+ degrees.

Anyway, for the occasion I chose a monochromatic outfit, consisting of a midi dress with lace pattern, a black and white blazer and a pair of black pumps. It feels nice to get all dolled up from time to time, don't you agree?

Blazer - H&M
Dress - Dorothy Perkins
Clutch - Accessorize
Pumps - Humanic

Have a great week!

Tennis Day Two - Denim on Denim

Hello, loves! I'm back with my second outfit from last week, when an ATP tennis tournament took place in Bucharest. The weather was and still is extremely hot for this period. It seems as if we blinked and missed spring. This is why I wore an almost summery outfit, with lots of denim and stripes. I love pairing this light blue denim jacket from Stradivarius with dark coloured jeans and a striped top because I think the result is rather trendy and modern. Accessories wise, I chose a belt to accentuate my waist and my spacious and extremely loved Modalu Pippa Grab, perfect for a busy day.

I really love this outfit since it is on the sporty and comfy side but it feels rather chic and feminine :)

My soon to be home...in my dreams maybe :D

I wish you all a wonderful May! Take care x

Tennis Outfit - Day One

What's this? Could this be a new outfit post?? I am probably as amazed as you are that I finally took some outfit photos :)) This is what I wore a few days ago to a tennis match, when the weather was still normal and hadn't decided to skip spring like it did today when we had around 28 degrees. In the past years, when I went to tennis tournaments I wore feminine and smart casual outfits, but this year I decided to let my sporty side out and I really loved the results.

Anyway, this outfit was really simple but I loved how all the pieces looked when put together. This is my new denim jacket from Mango and I'm obsessed with it. I want to wear it all the time and with every clothing piece I own. I also love how the red scarf made this outfit really pop. This is definitely one of my favourite posts!

Scarf - Zara
Denim jacket - Mango
Jumper - Zara
Bag - River Island
Jeans - Miss Sixty

Have a wonderful weekend and see you soon with my tennis outfit no. 2!

Today I like...

...This gorgeous beige cross body bag from River Island. I think its design looks like a combination between Rebecca Minkoff and Balenciaga. Love it! You can find it here.

Antique Dressing Tables

Hello girls! I don't know about you, but I love vanity tables. If I weren't living in a relatively small apartment I would have probably owned an elegant and sophisticated dressing table. I'm sure I wouldn't have settled for anything less than an antique piece (you all know about my love for antiques by now). But alas, since I don't have the possibility or the space to buy such a wonderful piece of furniture, I decided to post here about my favourite vanity tables found over the Internet, lavishly decorated and with such an amazing woodwork. A girl can dream, no? Anyway, I know you're going to love these pieces as much as I do because let's face it, what girl doesn't want to own such exquisite dressing tables??

Tourist in My Own City

Hello, girls! What have you been up to lately? I know I've promised to show you some photos of my city so here they are, in my brand new post :D About a month ago we experienced a super lovely weather in Bucharest and I decided to take a walk in the city centre and take some photos of my favourite places and buildings. That is, I decided to be a tourist in my own city.

I know that Bucharest is not a top holiday destination but you should really give it a chance, since it is really a city of contrasts, where modernity meets tradition. Back in the days, Bucharest was an elegant and very sophisticated city, with wide boulevards, amazing architecture and beautiful people. Much has changed since the '20s and '30s but you can still find streets filled with magnificent houses and buildings, which have so much to tell if you want to listen.

So, if you ever visit my city, be sure to check out the old city centre, Victoria Boulevard, the Revolution Square and the Athenaeum. You will no doubt be pleasantly surprised :)

The National Bank in the old city centre

Street in the old city centre

The C.E.C. Palace

The Central University Library of Bucharest

The Athenaeum

Saint Anton's Church (one of the oldest buildings in Bucharest)

There you have it, my favourite places in Bucharest. I really hope you liked this post and you've enjoyed the photos!

Sunday Love

Hello girls! I hope you're heaving a relaxed Sunday :) I really don't want it to be Monday tomorrow because this means that I'm back to working like a crazy person for the next week. I've been so busy lately with my job and the magazine that I barely had time to do anything else. I'm gutted that I don't have more time to write on my blog because I have so many ideas but so little time to write them down.

Anyway, yesterday I went for a stroll through the shops since the weather is extremely cold for this time of the year. I've seen a lot of things I liked but didn't buy anything. Depending on the things I'm going to find in the next weeks I'm going to decide what's worth buying and what's not :D

In the meantime, here are a few items that stole my heart:

Denim shirt from Mango, 35, 99 Euro

Star jumper from Bershka, 25,99 Euro

Lace linen top from H&M, 14,95 Euro (I love the model's entire outfit...and tan...and attitude)

What have you been loving lately? Any recommendations?
