My Top 3 Favourite Oscar Dresses

I couldn't pass the opportunity of showing you my favourite gowns from the Oscars. I know that there were many gorgeous dresses this year, but I managed to narrow my favourite ones to just three. So here they are:

 

Amanda Seyfried is my number one choice because I loved her entire look: the hair, the makeup and not to mention the beaded dress by Alexander McQueen. You know by now that I'm a sucker for ethereal embroidered dresses and this particular one is absolutely amazing.

 

My second choice is Naomi Watts who looked gorgeous in a futuristic silver sequin creation by Armani Prive. I think that this is my favourite look of her so far.

 



Last but not least, I loved Jennifer Lawrence and her breathtaking Dior Couture ball gown. She looked stunning. I'm also really happy she won the Oscar for Best Actress because I think she did a brilliant job in Silver Linings Playbook.

November Through My Phone

Hello loves! As November is coming to an end I decided to show you how this month has been for me by means of the pictures I managed to snap with my phone during these past weeks. November has been a great and extremely busy month for me. I just love months like this when I always have something to do because I am full of energy and I have the feeling that I am not waisting any moment of my life. It's a great feeling and I wish more months could be like this! 

 

I couldn't start the month without a trip to the countryside to visit my adorable cats. I am a major cat lover and I enjoy spending time with these two little monsters so much.

 

My favourite makeup products this month// My first Pandora bracelet which my boyfrind bought me as a present for my nameday this month

 

Getting off the plane in Brussels// Eating mussels with fries; this is a traditional dish in Belgium yum!

 

Christmas has already came in Brussels! Many of the sweet shops were beautifully decorated as seen above x

Leonidas chocolates, the most delicious chocolates in the world!// I wanted to buy this book written by Catherine Delors from the moment I've read Melanie's review on her blog, although I don't understand why they've given it such a cheesy title in Romanian (Love and Blood). The original title is Mistress of the Revolution and yes, the action is set on the eve of the French Revolution :D Can't wait to read it!

Today I like...

 

....Belle Époque style! A few day ago I came across this gorgeous photograph of a lady dressed in a wonderful Belle Époque gown. I think that this is my favourite period costumewise because I have never seen such elegant and sophisticated gowns as those created during the Belle Époque. Hmmmm I predict this is going to be the start of an endless search for tons of books and articles regarding this amazing historical period!

Today I like...

...Jessica Alba looking like a real life princess in Valentino. What an amazing dress, don't you think? It has a gorgeous colour and it's incredibly feminine and fairytale-like. In my opinion, Valentino creates the most stunning ball gowns.

The Perfect Dress

Today I was browsing the Internet and came across this absolutely stunning dress of SJP at the NYC Ballet Valentiono event. I cannot express how much I love it...it's the perfect combination for me: silk + embroidery + nude dusty colour = perfection. For me at least. This has to be one of the most beautiful gowns I've ever seen this year (and not only). Needless to say, the bronze belt makes this dress even more spectacular by emphasising the waist and creating a gorgeous contrast with the gown's pale colours. Beautiful!
