New Look Waterfall Cardigan

Hello everyone!

Today I have another OOTD for you. The title of my post could have easily been "same boots, different days", since in my previous outfit post I was also wearing them. Actually, I've been wearing them quite a lot because they are my favourite winter piece, so excuse me if I repeat myself in my outfit posts, but i think they are so versatile I can basically wear them with everything.

Anyway, returning to the star of today's post, I thought I should finally show you my New Look waterfall cardigan which I ordered on-line about 3 weeks ago.  I've been looking for a waterfall cardigan for ages and I'm so glad I finally found this one! I think its turquoise colour looks great with an all black outfit and with a pair of tan boots. Unfortunately, my hair covered the brooch I accessorised the cardigan with :( It is a family jewel (as I like to call it) and when I was little I used to adore it and was so jealous on my mom whenever she was wearing it. But it's mine now muhahaha!

So this was my outfit from last night when I went out with one my friends.

And here's a separate pic of my gold parrot brooch. As I said, I used to love it when I was little, and I still do :)

Do you have any piece of jewelry with sentimental value?

That's a wrap for today! Have a great rest of the week! xx

Red & Black

I know I haven't done an OOTD for quite some time but lately it has become really hard to take outfit photos outside due to the fact that a) it's really cold  and b) it gets dark at 4 30 pm. So my apologies for the boring indoor background but this is the only way and place where I'm able to take decent outfit photos without freezing :D So this "lovely" door is going to be quite the star of my pics for the next period of time.

Today I went to a cute Italian restaurant to eat some pastas and I really liked my outfit choice, so I thought I could share it with you. I just love the combination between red and black and I was so delighted to finally find this red cardigan at Zara (I've been searching for it for ages). I added a simple black dress, tan boots and a lovely pair of H&M printed tights and I was ready to go.

Cardigan - Zara
Dress - Zara
Belt - H&M
Printed tights - H&M
Boots - Zara
Bag - Nine West

In other news, I'm almost done with Christmas shopping, fact which makes me a really relaxed and happy person. I've bought all the presents for everybody and I'm almost done with buying decorations, but tomorrow I'm going to purchase the last remaining bits. So yeah, I was lucky to escape most of the madness this year!

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this beautiful (and stressful) time of the year!

Vienna Haul

Hello lovelies!

How are your Christmas preparations going? I've started decorating my apartment little by little but I'll save the Christmas tree for the 24th of December (I've always decorated it on this day). Right now I've lit a scented candle and I'm listening to some Christmas music and I'm feeling even more festive than usual :P What can I do? The Christmas bug has caught me completely :)

So today I wanted to make a Vienna haul. I didn't buy too many clothes because unfortunately (for me) I didn't manage to find the things I wanted, such as a wool camel coat, a party dress and a leather tan tote bag. I mean, there were tons of shops with tons of clothes but I didn't want to waste my money on stuff I already had. This is why I've bought only a few sweaters, a super cute lace dress, a ruffled blouse and jewelry from Forever 21 (they have the best jewelry!). Apart from these, I've both a lot of sweets and gingerbread from the Christmas markets and they are simply delicious; and gorgeously decorated. I've saved a few for Christmas day but I really hope that I'm not going to eat them until then :))

Anyway, after I returned, I threw everything I bought on my bed and took a few pics before I put all of them away.

From left to right: Zara red cardigan, Forever 21 ruffled  blouse, Forever 21 lace & pleated dress, Tally Weijl sweater and Forever 21 sweater

My favourites are the dress and the blouse. I love their texture and the colours are simply gorgeous. I have a new brand crush: Forever 21. They have the cutest clothes and the most gorgeous jewelry! Forgive my enthusiasm but we don't have Forever 21 where I live so I don't have the chance to shop from them very often.
I wanted to add that shopping in Vienna is great, because you have so many great shops to choose from (Peek & Cloppenburg, Forever 21, Zara, Mango, H&M, Humanic, Promod, Pimkie, Orsay, Tally Weijland and so on) and both Mariahilferstarsse and Kartner Strasse are the best shopping streets in the world (but that's just my opinion of course). Vienna should offer me a free vacation for all this positive advertising :))

I think in the next post I'm going to share with you a few travelling tips (where to stay, where to eat, what to visit, etc.).

Anyway, if you're not interested, just skip these posts. I'm doing them because first of all, I adore this city and I love talking about it, second of all, maybe there are people who are as passionate about  Vienna as I am and we can share thoughts and impressions and third of all, maybe there are people who want to go to there and want to know more things about it, so maybe these posts can be helpful.

Talk to you soon! Back to decorating!

Vienna in December

Guten tag everybody!

I'm back from my trip to Vienna and I already want back. This is my favourite place in the world and I would absolutely like to live there someday. I love the architecture, the atmosphere, the people, its elegance, its history, EVERYTHING! Even though this was my third visit, I still haven't had enough of it and I would go again there gladly! Needless to say that in winter the city looks like it came out of a fairytale book, with its Christmas markets, its beautiful lights, its gorgeously decorated shops and so on.

I had a great time, but I have to say I came back pretty tired and with a terrible cold. Why tired? Well, because we used to leave the hotel at 11 o'clock and return at 6 and then leave again at 6:30 or 7 and come back at 9:30 or 10! Daily! It's such a lovely city which has so many places to visit and even though you've been there before, it's impossible not to visit those amazing places all over again. Why did I come back with a nasty cold? I have no idea :( I mean it was cold, but not freezing, it was pretty bearable (around 5 degrees Celsius). But I don't care because it's a Viennese cold as I like to call it. Silly, I know :)

So if you ever have the chance to go to Vienna, no matter the season, just go! Don't think about it twice because you'll never regret it!

Now shall we proceed with the photos? Be prepared for a huuuge number of pics :)

Clarins face powder & Sephora present

Hello girls!

Today I want to show you my new Clarins compact face powder and a few bits and bobs. As I told you before, I'm all for a natural look, therefore I wanted a light and soft face powder which could give my skin a healthy, matte finish. I'm very pleased with this powder and I think that the description from its packaging suits it perfectly, because it really has "an ultra light texture which melts into the skin for a natural, velvety finish" and it "evens the complexion in a subtle, soft veil". So much poetry :)) To make things simpler, these are the words that describe it best: light, natural, soft, comfort and subtle. So if you are searching for a powder which can give you all of these, here it is!  It comes in three shades and I have no 30 Beige sable/ Sandy beige.

Next, I wanted to show you the little present I received from Sephora and Givenchy. Because I recently purchased some products from Givenchy, they offered me (and many other customers of course) a free make-up bag, some brushes (except the face brush the rest of them are really tiny and kinda useless) and an anti-wrinkle cream sample (which I'm gonna give to my mum).

I really like the make-up bag; it was perfect timing because I was actually searching for a new one.
And last but not least I wanted to tell you that My New Look order arrived yesterday and the cardigan looks great! It has a gorgeous lively colour that will make any outfit stand out. I must say I expected it to be shorter, but I like it nevertheless. Here is a sneak peek...the rest in a future outfit post :D

That's all lovelies!

Until next time, lots of kisses!

New Cosmetics: Chanel Vitalumiere & Sephora goodies

Hello lovelies!

How are you all? I'm so busy with work at the moment...so many things to do and so little time. Other than that, I've ordered a waterfall cardigan from New Look and I can't wait for it to arrive! I hope it doesn't get lost on its way :D

Anyway, today I wanted to show you the latest additions to my cosmetics collection. Fortunately my budget didn't quite suffer that much because I've got most of them as a present for my name day's anniversary a few weeks ago. So I was pretty lucky :)

Here they are:

This is my first mineral foundation. It's from Sephora and I have to say I'm really pleased with it. It has a medium coverage but it is very buildable in the same time. It offers a matte finish and it's indicated for all skin types. The foundation also has SPF15, it's oil free and it doesn't have parabens. I really recommend it because I like how matte and how picture perfect my complexion looks after applying it. The shade I have is R30 (moyen/ medium).

Next up: Chanel Vitalumiere. I wanted this foundation for such a long time and I've got it as a present. It is very light, you barely feel it on your skin, it has medium coverage but is is also buildable if you want a thicker coverage. I personally like lighter foundations because I'm a fan of the natural look and I'm very happy when I find products that offer me a healthy natural glow. And this is what this foundation offers me. It is very moisturising and soft and it has SPF15. The shade I have is nr. 30 Cendre. However, during the day it may look a bit oily around your T zone, and you might need a powder to mattify this region. But overall, I'm pleased with it because it does everything it says.

Last but not least, I wanted to show you these 2 eye shadows. The first one is from Sephora (shade peach beige nr. 13) and the second one is from Too Faced (shade Glamazon). I'm a big fan of neutral/ pastel eye shadows and in the days when I don't feel like wearing too much make-up I apply one of these eye shadows, then some eyeliner and mascara and I'm ready to go :)

That's it guys! I hope you liked these products and in case you were thinking about buying one of them (or all :D), I hope I've managed to help you make up your mind (even a bit) :P

Have an awesome weekend!

Vienna City Break

As I told you in my previous post, I have some exciting news and I couldn't wait to share them with you! As the title suggests, I'll be going on a city break in one of my favourite cities in the world: Vienna! This will be my third visit to this great city and I'm soooo exited! Why visit one city 3 times in 3 years? Because I absolutely adore it; I think it's a beautiful and exciting city with a great historical background. You'll never get bored during your visit because there are so many beautiful places to go to and so many museums and palaces to visit. After all, we couldn't expect less from the capital of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, could we?

Anyway, I've never visited it on Christmas and from what I've seen and heard it's a magical place to be in during the winter holidays. This is why going to Vienna in December became one of my biggest dreams. Therefore this year, I finally decided to go on a short city break between the 5th and the 8th of December, just before Christmas :)

I can't wait to go to all those beautiful Christmas markets, visit the Hofburg Palace and Stephan's Dom one more time and shop like crazy on Mariahilferstrasse!

Have you ever been to Vienna? What is your favourite city in the world?

Lots of kisses!

New in: leather gloves

Hello guys,

I hope you are all doing great! I'm so happy it's Friday (who isn't?) and I can finally sleeeep and relax! I don't know about you, but I've been feeling so Christmassy lately because of the cold weather and all the Christmas decorations which are starting to appear slowly but surely everywhere!! God, I love this time of the year!

Anyway, because  of the cold weather outside, I needed to buy some gloves and I found just the perfect pair at Promod. I'm a huge fan of leather gloves because I find them to be so stylish and chic; but unfortunately they're not very warm. But surprisingly my new gloves have a great soft lining which keep my hands really warm. And their leather is extremely soft. They also have a cute little detail, a small cream bow, which makes them so much cuter. Love it!

They had a lot of beautiful models, both leather and suede and in different colours such as dark blue, turquoise, red, brown and black of course. So if you're interested, go and check them out at Promod's official site or in their stores.  Also if you like my gloves, here's the link to them!

In other news, I wanted to show you my new photo frame because I think it's simply gorgeous and I hope you'll agree :)

It's so weird to show you a photo of me within another photo :)) I just love the little pearls and the delicate filigree. It looks so elegant, doesn't it?

Also, recently I've got some amazing new make-up, among which a mineral foundation from Sephora and the now famous Chanel Vitalumiere foundation. I'm thinking of making a compared review of the two products because I'm very pleased with both of them. We'll see :)

And last but not least, I've got some exciting news regarding the first days of December, but more of this in my next post!

Have a lovely weekend!

NOTD - Road House Blues by OPI

Hello guys!

It's time for a new NOTD!  I've been wanting a dark blue nail polish for ages because 1. I love dark nail polishes and 2. one of my favourite colours is dark blue. And I was lucky to find just the perfect shade at OPI!  Therefore, I present to you Road house blues from their latest collection, Touring America .

Two coats is all you need to get this great colour. I simply love it and I'm sure I'm gonna wear it like crazy this winter!

Also, I wanted to show you a few glimpses of my beautiful flowers. I think this is the best thing about anniversaries: all the flowers you get (and presents too, who am I kindding? :))!

Aren't they beautiful? :)

Have a great weekend!
