Today I like...

Not one...but two things!

First in line is this gorgeous Zara blouse with studded collar. I know there is a studs madness out there this season and I'm completely in love with this trend. I really really really want this shirt but it's so darn expensive...almost 70 Euros for a shirt? Not good. But maybe I'll buy it as a graduation present? Or I'll keep searching for a cheaper alternative... Either way, I love this rock chic turn on an otherwise average shirt.

The second item I love is this clutch from Asos. I really want a more casual clutch which I can wear during daytime and this one seems to be a good option. The colour is perfect for all seasons and the studs give it a more modern twist. The only downside is that I wanted a slightly oversized clutch but this is more of a normal sized one. But I like it so much nevertheless. It's currently on sale at 28 pounds, reduced from 42. I'm torn so if you have any advice please share :)

I know there haven't been too many posts lately, but I'm working hard to finish my dissertation paper since I have to submit it on Friday. I can't wait to get it over with once and for all! Wish me luck!

Take care loves x

The Perfect Pair of Summer Flat Sandals

I'm super excited to have finally found the perfect pair of flat sandals for summer! Due to the fact that summer time in Bucharest is extremely hot and sunny, I mostly prefer wearing flat sandals during the day because they are very comfortable and go with a lot of clothing pieces, such as maxi dresses, short flowy dresses, short shorts, skinny jeans, crop pants, long or short skirts, etc.

I think that the last pair of flat sandals I was crazy about was a pair from Zara which I bought around two or three years ago. I didn't think it was possible to like a pair of sandals more than my beloved Zara pair, but this summer I was lucky to find a gorgeous pair of leather flat sandals by Enzo Bertini (a multibrand shoe store) in some gorgeous neutral shades: beige and light grey. I love them so much!

What do you think? I'm so happy when I manage to find items I like so much as these two cuties. They will definitely be one of my summer staples this season.

Take care lovelies & enjoy the beautiful weather x

Summer fragrance: Flora Gorgeous Gardenia by Gucci

I should probably start by saying I'm not too good at describing fragrances, therefore I'll try to keep this post short and simple. If you are a fan of the original Flora perfume, then there is a big chance you will love Gucci's new line of perfumes named "the Garden Collection". The fragrance that most resembles Flora (and my personal favourite) is Gorgeous Gardenia. The difference between them would be that the latter is not as sweet and strong as the original Flora. Gorgeous Gardenia is a little more discrete and more fruity in my opinion.

The reason why I like this perfume so much is because it has all the things I love in a summer fragrance: it's sweet but fresh in the same time, it's deliciously fruity with gorgeous floral notes, it's incredibly feminine and it's long lasting. It's pleasant and fun. It's perfect!

Its top notes are red berries and pear, its middle notes are gardenia and plumeria and its base notes are brown sugar and patchouli. Gorgeous Gardenia is a fragrance which is both exotic and sophisticated and which has quickly become one of my favourite perfumes ever.

What's your favourite summer fragrance? Any recommendation?

Lots of love x

OOTD - Zara Chiffon Sweater

You probably know by now how much I love my new Zara chiffon sweater. This is why I tried to wear it as much as I could before the weather turned really hot. I think this is my favourite clothing item at the moment because I adore (yes, adore!) everything about it. Its colour, its design, its pattern, its length...you name it.

For today's OOTD I decided to wear it with a pair of Zara skinny jeans, nude ballet flats and my River Island tassel bag (another favourite of mine). I've worn this outfit yesterday to run some errands and for a late evening walk in the nearby park.

(my 'take the damn picture' face)

I'm so happy I've bought it because this is a great item which I can wear on numerous occasions. So if you see it in your local Zara don't hesitate to buy it since it is really versatile and beautiful.

On a different note, I can't wait to finish my dissertation....just a few more weeks and I'm done. I'm completely bored and tired of all the writing and I want to go on a holiday so badly!!

And in order to cheer me up in the meantime, I went shoe shopping! Horrible excuse, I know, but I needed some flat sandals for the summer and I managed to find some gorgeous ones, along with a new pair of ballet flats. Oops...they were on sale and I've been eyeing them for quite some time and I just couldn't resist the temptation. My wallet is not too happy about it, but I sure am!

Hope you're going to have a fantastic weekend!

Talk to you soon x

NOTD - O.P.I. Malaysian Mist

Today I wanted to show you my favourite nail polish at the moment, which is Malaysian Mist by O.P.I. It is a gorgeous pastel peachy colour with a glossy finish. It is a a bit sheer, therefore it requires about three coats in order to become opaque, but the result is gorgeous.

Even though it is a bit annoying to apply three coats of nail polish, as I said, it's still my current favourite summer nail polish due to its beautiful colour, but things might change after I'll devastate pay a visit to the new Nails Inc counter over at Sephora. I can't wait to buy a few shades since I've been waiting for such a long time for the Nails Inc polishes to be available in our country.

Do you have any summer nail polish recommendation for me?
