My Top 3 Favourite Oscar Dresses

I couldn't pass the opportunity of showing you my favourite gowns from the Oscars. I know that there were many gorgeous dresses this year, but I managed to narrow my favourite ones to just three. So here they are:

Amanda Seyfried is my number one choice because I loved her entire look: the hair, the makeup and not to mention the beaded dress by Alexander McQueen. You know by now that I'm a sucker for ethereal embroidered dresses and this particular one is absolutely amazing.

My second choice is Naomi Watts who looked gorgeous in a futuristic silver sequin creation by Armani Prive. I think that this is my favourite look of her so far.

Last but not least, I loved Jennifer Lawrence and her breathtaking Dior Couture ball gown. She looked stunning. I'm also really happy she won the Oscar for Best Actress because I think she did a brilliant job in Silver Linings Playbook.

Thoughts? Any favourite? I'd love to read your opinions x

Jumper Overload

Hello girls! Today I wanted to talk to you about my latest obsession, namely jumpers....I don't know about you, but I think that pretty jumpers are really hard to find. During the past few years I've been so frustrated by the fact that I couldn't find any jumper which I really loved. All of them were boring and really short. I like my jumpers long and loose, by the way :D

But this winter everything changed and the shops were full with pretty knits. Heaven! I don't know what happened but I am really happy that I managed to buy some gorgeous jumpers this season. These four jumpers which I am going to show you in this post were purchased in the past month and I love each and every one of them.

The blue deep hem jumper is from Asos and you've seen it before in this post, so there's not much to say about it, apart from the fact that I love its design.

The second one with the flower details is from Topshop and it's my favourite from the bunch. I love how feminine and chic it looks thanks to the beading and the flower details. I also love the colour combinations and the fact that the material feels really luxurious and qualitative.

The mint jumper is from H&M and it is also one of my favourite jumpers. I like the colour so much and the loose fit. It will be perfect for spring. I can't wait to wear it!

The last jumper was bought during the Zara sales, so I'm not sure if they still have it. You've previously seen it in this post. I love to wear it with a shirt underneath or with an oversized scarf.

How gorgeous are these details on the Topshop jumper?

I can't wait to include the other two jumpers in some outfit posts! Do you have any favourite?

Have a wonderful week! x

Outfit Post: Draped Hem Jumper

Hello beautiful ladies! What have you been up to lately? I've been really busy with work and other projects, and this is why I really neglected blogging. But here I am again, back with an outfit post.
I wanted to show you my newest love, namely this blue jumper from Asos. I ordered it two weeks ago and it came on Monday and I really really really love it. It is very soft and light on the skin, but my favourite thing about it is its draped hem, which is actually the reason for which I bought it in the first place. (If you like the jumper you should know that they also have it in white and black)

Anyway, today I went for a bit of shopping with my mum and this is what I decided to wear (btw, you should really visit H&M during this period because they have some really beautiful pieces). I know that my outfits tend to be quite similar, but to be honest this is what I love to wear most during winter: nice jumper, black jeans or jeggins and boots. I think this has become some sort of uniform :))

Jeggins - Zara

I hope you are having an amazing weekend!

Beaded Denim Shirt

Hello girls! I hope you had a lovely weekend! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but it's really hard for me to post more often since now I have two jobs and my free time can be very limited at times. But you know I love blogging and I will try and post at least once a week.

Anyway, back to the outfit, this is what I wore today for a bit of sale shopping. The denim shirt is  a recent purchase and it has become one of my favourite items of clothing, mostly thanks to the beaded collar. I'm a sucker for everything which has pearls attached to it, or other feminine subtle details for that matter. Also, my obsession for this Zara bag hasn't faded, since I still feed the need to carry it everywhere I go :))

Denim shirt - Stradivarius
Jumper - Zara
Jeggins - Zara
Boots - Ken's Shoes (Belgium)
Leather bag with zips - Zara

I wish you all an amazing week! I'm personally very excited for next week since the European Skating Championships start, and I'm a huge skating fan. So yeah, I'm looking forward to that :)

Au revoir, lovelies x

What's in My Bag - Winter Edition

Hello, girls! I always love reading What's in my bag posts so I though I might as well do one. You know I love bags...you might even say I have an obsession with them, hence when Santa bought me this Zara leather bag with zips, I couldn't be happier. It was a perfect present indeed. It is very spacious, the golden hardware is gorgeous and the shoulder strap can be very handy in case it gets to heavy. So, without further ado, here's what's in my bag!

1. Glamour magazine - I always need to have something to read in my bag, weather a book or a magazine, because I get so bored on the tube when I go to work or into town// 2. My organiser - since I managed to secure a part time job at an online magazine (besides my normal, full time job) I really need to organise my time better. I also use the organiser to write article ideas, various information or certain tasks and meetings// 3. My Blackberry - without which my life wouldn't be complete// 4. Makeup bag (it will be detailed below)// 5. Orbit drops// 6. A pair of leather gloves - during winter I always need to have a pair of gloves in my bag because, obviously, it's freezing and  my hands can become really dry and coarse if I don't take care of them// 7. My purse from Guess which I bought in the summer during my holiday in Rome// 8. Some hand wipes// 9. A little pouch - where I like to keep some Nurofen pills, some bobby pins for my hair, a small sewing kit and some band aids.

Here is the contents of my makeup bag: 1. Himalaya Lip balm - I have really sensitive lips and I constantly need to hydrate them// 2. Nivea had cream - as I said, during winter my hands can become really dry, this is why I always need to carry a moisturising hand cream in my bag// 3. Lancome Juicy Tube in Lychee// 4. Small version of Moschino's Glamour - sometimes I can be very sleepy in the morning and forget to put on some perfume; this is why I always care a small perfume version with me, so that I can apply perfume later in that day// 5. Clarins face powder - I carry this powder with my because it is very light and soft, perfect for touch ups during the day// 6. A travel size face brush// 7. Small mirror - I have this mirror for about four years. I bought it during a trip to Versailles and it has Marie Antoinette on the lid. This is by far my favourite mirror.

So these were the things I carry in my bag on a daily basis. I hope you liked this post and you are going to have a lovely week!

Lots of love x

NYE Outfit

Happy New Year, lovelies! I hope 2013 is going to be exactly as you imagine it to be and more! Just a quick outfit post to show you what I wore yesterday evening. And what other pose says winter holidays better than the traditional "next to the Christmas tree" pose? I just couldn't resist it :) Anyway, I chose this gorgeous black lace dress from Topshop (you can find it here) which actually arrived just a few days before the big night. It is so flattering and qualitative and it has become my favourite party dress. Accessory wise, I opted for a golden statement necklace from New Look and a cocktail ring.

For my make-up I chose a golden-bronzy smoky eye with nude lips, but unfortunately my "amazing" phone wasn't able to capture it properly...

At midnight I went to the city centre to watch the beautiful fireworks show which lasted around 15 minutes. I had a beautiful night spent with the persons which matter the most to me. I hope you too had a wonderful night and that you are going to have an amazing 2013!

Lots of love x

PhoneCam Style Post

Hello sweeties! I really need your opinion on something. As you know, I love fashion and outfit posts, but unfortunately I don't always have the time or mood for proper style posts, shot on location or in high quality. This is why some of my outfit posts are sometimes shot with my phone in my bedroom and my background consists of my bed or my desk or other boring interiors.  Thus, I was thinking that if it's OK with you, I could do more outfit posts shot with my phone, like this one. I know the quality is really poor, but at least there would hopefully be more style posts on the blog. Or would you prefer me to do the regular, more qualitative ones, even though they will be really seldom? I would really appreciate your feedback, so please tell me what you think in the comments box below.

Jumper - Love
Bowling bag with zips - Zara
Jeggins - Zara

Back to the purpose of this post, this is the outfit I wore a couple of days ago to the movies. I love this heart jumper because besides being a bit on the festive side thanks to its colours, it is also very comfortable and fun. I couldn't resist leaving my new bag at home because I was eager to take it out for a spin since I like it sooo much. I love the fact that it has an additional shoulder strap so that you can wear it on your shoulder if it gets too heavy. Inevitably, it seems that I have another bag crush. Shocking, I know...

Anyway, that's it from me now. I hope you are all doing wonderful and you've already written your new year's resolutions! Lots of love x
